Emily here! After our last podcast episode, my friend Blaire left me an important message that she saw the Pringles Crocs out in the wild on the streets of New York City. She also mentioned that the price point on the boots with the mini Pringles container holder is a whopping 124 DOLLARS. What a world!

Also this week I asked my friend what I could get her daughter for her Bat Mitzvah and was given a very unsurprising task to obtain a Sephora gift card for the thirteen year old. So glad to be of service to the teen / tween undoing of a mall staple, especially if it’s a mitzvah!

🚨 New Term Alert 🚨

A youthful coworker dropped the term “washed” on me. I said please back the train up and hit me with an example! So here it is:

Friend A: Man, I just can’t rizz these girls up like I used to.

Friend B: Yea dude, you’re kinda washed

According to the youth — it would be used to say something is past its prime. It’s used to describe a persons lack of ability. I could list all of the ways I personally feel washed, but that doesn’t seem like it’s necessary for you to feel this hot term. So we’re gonna scoot right along to — an important update from the culinary preferences of … moi.

I have officially finished one tub of cottage cheese (after declaring oatzembic not for me) and I gotta be honest — I’m a FAN. Who knew? Is cottage cheese full cottagecore aka the new me? Am I going to start pouring mustard in there and posting videos to TikTok? Please stay tuned.

Great news for Sephora — the 13-15 year old boy demo was probably a little quiet for them. Very curious how their fragrance numbers are looking in 2024. I can still access the sense memory of: Debbie Gibson’s -ELECTRIC YOUTH (notes of bubble gum and sugar) and LOVE’S BABY SOFT (notes of Johnson & Johnson powder mixed with fresh soap)

The smell of OBSESSION can still make me a lil’ weak in the knees. It was that or DRAKKAR NOIR for the Long Island fellas. Neither of those scents evoked the feeling of “exclusively you in ROMA.” They were giving “roaming with the crew at the Roosevelt Field Mall.”
