Last week Taylor Swift reclaimed her masters to the tune of $360 million.
This massive win got swept up in our ketamine-fueled news cycle. Personally, I pumped my fist when the headline came across my desk and immediately flashed back to Taylor’s 2017 lawsuit win. Let’s review —
Swift vs Mueller
2013
During a routine radio station meet-n-greet a POS radio host sexually assaulted Swift in plain sight. He decided to put his hand on her bare bum.
Taylor informed her security team of the assault and they immediately confronted David Mueller. That confrontation lead to Mueller being fired.

Two years later, that arrogant POS had the balls to sue Taylor for defamation. He was seeking $3 million in damages.
A month later, Taylor filed a counterclaim accusing Mueller of assault and battery. She sought to nail this bitch against the wall for a single dollar.
We just love when a girl boss lawyers up to put a POS in their POS place for a single dollar bill. *see Gwyneth
2017
The jury ruled in Taylor’s favor and she was awarded four quarters. Taylor pledged to donate an undisclosed amount to organizations dedicated to helping sexual assault victims. At the end of this five year journey Taylor reflected on her case — “This is with seven witnesses and a photo. What happens when you get raped and it's your word against his?"
I acknowledge the privilege that I benefit from in life, in society and in my ability to shoulder the enormous cost of defending myself in a trial like this. My hope is to help those whose voices should also be heard. Therefore, I will be making donations in the near future to multiple organizations that help sexual assault victims defend themselves.
