A mom (who shall remain nameless) reached out to us with an observation. She shared that her teen was posting blurry photos on social media. She wondered why. Why at a time when resolution is at its very highest and pixels are at their pixeliest would this be the case? We asked for an example. She showed us a screen grab of her teen’s post. It was the corner of a room with a friend smiling in the background, someone else’s elbow in the shot and it was indeed blurry. I immediately texted thirteen-old-Emma to see if she could give us some insight on this very cloudy situation.
Why Do Teens Take Blurry, Unposed Photos?
Emma W. (13) i don’t think there’s necessarily a reason i think it’s more just one of those things we do but also not all of them are blurry they just aren’t usually as posed like standing on a line smiling with teeth with your arms around your friends like a Facebook mom.
