It’s a new season and that means a whole fresh batch of aesthetics.

An aesthetic, in this context, is a way of dressing that encapsulates a vibe. Last year we identified Cottagecore, Tomato Girl, Frazzled English Woman, Corporate Baddie and beyond.

Luna Montana

Aesthetics can lean costume, so this time around we are identifying the aesthetic and translating it for a more grown-up audience (aka us.) We can really see ourselves in each of these ideas! How fun. Love to hear which one has you feeling flirty for fall 🍂.

Countryside Classics

This is as classic as it gets. Dig out your skinny jeans and source some tall riding boots. Countryside classic is perfect for the runaround but polished enough to pivot to lunch with friends at the drop of a hat (or boot.)

Emily Henderson nails it

Countryside Classic Elements —

  • Riding Boots

  • Skinny Jeans: preferably a dark wash that can tuck into a boot

  • Brown Suede Belts: adds a little texture

    • As we know suede is the fabric of fall 2024

  • Chore Coat - a classic, easy, rugged, transitional coat that looks amazing with jeans and boot, perfect for a crisp fall day.

    • Madewell makes a good chore coat

      • What is a chore coat? - it’s a boxy, durable jacket typically made out of denim, canvas or twill. It tends to have pockets at the hips and chest.
