NPC (non-playable character) simply put it’s all the side characters in a video game that aren’t controlled by humans. They are moving the game forward by adding bits of dialogue or action. Below is a video explaining how TikTokers are making big cash acting like NPCs on TikTok live. They are dressing up, doing random repetitive motions and many times speaking in digital gibberish. This somehow translates into viewers wanting to send them money. Click below for a deep dive into this odd trend.
