My TikTok FYP has been totally taken over by Diddy conspiracy theories. I miss the simpler days of when my feed was old lady makeup tips, middle school slang, and snarky gals talking about just wanting to be in sweatpants (strong relate). Now, everything I’m being served in my FYP is another celeb takedown!

Just yesterday I “learned” that Naomi Campbell is being accused of being Diddy’s Ghislaine Maxwell, Liam Payne’s death ties back to Diddy — and he dated Naomi Campbell, and Ellen DeGeneres was involved in Diddy party shenanigans. But — what is true?

Are there really tunnels under Los Angeles from the Playboy mansion to other celebrities homes equipped with a celeb-only Starbucks? I even saw a video claiming that Michael Jackson was just seen in Diddy’s backyard because there is a tunnel that connects their homes. Oh, and he’s not dead. Unhinged!

But you all, please. Some of these videos are accusing Oprah of being the ring leader of it all. Please, leave my Oprah alone! Her heart is pure gold. I don’t want to be wrong about this, okay? (And If I am, I am sorry).

This gal says that the J. Cole “She Knows” music video, Kanye West’s “Famous” video and Beyonce’s “Lemonade” have been taken down because they were riddled with subliminal messaging. Did these artists really have these videos scrubbed from the internet? Is that true?

AND I found the other two as well. So, it’s shocking. BUT not everything you see on TikTok is true!

Based on my recent FYP and what the TikTok algorithm is feeding me — I truly get a sense of how great civilizations crumble, how truth gets obfuscated until reality is so blurred and nonsensical that you don’t know up from down. Maybe we all need to go touch grass?

In this past week, the old TikTok did deliver me one term that I had never heard before — and it felt so right that I have put it to use multiple times already. We’re going to get to that.

The truth is, I got so disgruntled by my TikTok feed that I did something radical — I downloaded Lemon8. Now you’re probably like “huh? what’s that?” We’re going to get to that too!
