If you’ve been following along with HTBLO for the last few weeks you know that the google suite of products has both alluded me and smacked me around. So it was no surprise that I was unaware of Kendrick’s live concert on Juneteenth hosted by Amazon Music (Am I paying for amazon music if I’m paying from Prime????)

We do know that I can stream Prime because of that Anne Hathaway joint. Anyhoo —the concert was live on Amazon Music and also streaming on Twitch. Would love to know how many women over 40 are on Twitch — IF ANY!  Truly don’t know if I’ll ever make my way - seems impossible!

Back to the concert, well some might call it a concert, others might say it was a burial of one Mr. Aubrey Drake Graham. Note to self - if Kendrick Lamar calls you to the carpet for any reason — just accept. Bow your head in deference and move on ✌🏻.

Now, it wasn’t until Emily read the exchange between Chet Hanks and Tom Hanks that I started to get my head and my heart around the Drake/Kendrick beef. And while I didn’t watch the Pop Out in real time I have consumed the entire piece in full and watched no less than 5 hours worth of clips on TikTok. Let’s take a walk through what I learned.
